The Dune HD line of media players are considered to be the industry standard in HD content streaming. HD network capabilities allow network streaming of full quality DVD and Blu-Ray backups from either ISO or folder structure. Blu-Ray backups function with full original menu control and HD audio surround streams (True-HD and DT-MA). DVD backups function with full original menu control and SD audio surround streams. This level of network streaming accuracy ensures playback that is identical to the original source. The original experience of the optical disc is preserved in its entirety. The HD Smart D1 unit offers a digital display to allow the user to see machine status and playback information The D1 unit has provisions for an internally mounted SATA drive (not included) for content to be stored on the unit for playback. The drive is easily accessed by removing the units cover.
